In what ways can I view the area at night?

Which viewing mode you use at night depends on the environment where you are, what you want to see and at what distance you want to look. You have the choice of no fewer than three options at night:

• Night Vision Green Phosphor: The well -known green statue for general observations at night, for example in the field or in the forest. If you want to look as far as possible, it is best to use this mode.
• Night Vision White Phosphor: Color contrast for the best readable and sharpest image. Suitable for urban environment.
• Black/White: A black and white image for when you need as much contrast as possible, for example for reading texts or license plates on cars.
• Amber: a new, unique color mode that gives you a gold -colored picture. You use this mode when you want to see many details and have a high contrast. Especially suitable in situations where there is some form of residual lights (eg at sunrise).

Whatever option you choose, don't forget at night to remove the color filter from the lens, because they will stop infrared and ambient light.

Infrared radiator

If you no longer see a hand in mind, then the night viewer really comes to life. The night viewer has a powerful infrared radiator. You use this when there is hardly any light at all, for example in a remote forest. The IR has an invisible 850nm beam and the glow is only visible up close. You can easily set the infrared beam in terms of power and in terms of angle.

What can I expect during the day and at dusk?

During the day the Stargazer produces a razor -sharp image. This is due to the special 'day mode', the color filter and the Amoled-Q Quad-Pixel HD Widescreen. You will not find the quality that you see with this viewer during the day at any other night viewer. This means that you use the device during the day as a digital camera and as binoculars. You also look for a very long time with many details in the twilight. And when it gets too dark, switch to one of the night positions that you have been able to read before.

Unique quality photos and videos

The device records photos with a stunning resolution of no less than 5360x3008 pixels (16.1mp) and records videos in 1080p with 60fps. These are stored on the 16GB MicroSD card and transfer to your computer or laptop with the MicroSD stick. The viewer has the requirements (Electronic Image Stabilization) to compensate for vibrations and to correct blur. If you want to make many recordings, we recommend using a sturdy tripod. Operate the night viewer with your smartphone

Via the free app 'RoadCam' you can operate the Stargazer with your smartphone or tablet (for Android and iOS). For example, you view live images via your smartphone. The viewer creates a WiFi signal yourself so that you can easily connect your device.

Comfort and power supply

The night frame is binocular, which means that you look through it with two eyes. This makes it very comfortable - even for long -term use - because you don't have to close 1 eye continuously. You can use the device with the four CR123A batteries included for up to 3 hours. You can also provide the viewer with continuous feeding, by connecting it with, for example, a power bank or laptop (via supplied UBS-C cable). Extra powerful CR123 batteries are also optionally available.
