With the APC Network Management Card 3 AP9640 you can easily connect an APC smart-up with the network. This card allows you to monitor and manage the ups remotely via SNMP. In addition, the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and virtual servers using the free Software Powershute Network Shutdown. For the initial configuration of the network settings you connect the NMC with a local computer via a micro-USB cable.
