You start with 2 villages on a variable game board with fields, meadows, hills, mountains and forests. When it's your turn, throw with 2 dice to determine who get raw materials. That depends on the position of your villages. Then you can act with the bank or with your fellow players. You don't get all types of raw materials. And you do need that to build new villages, streets and towns. You can also buy development cards to do special promotions. Furthermore, there is a robber who loses some landscapes.
Villages and towns not only produce raw materials, but are also worth points. Development cards, the longest continuous route and the largest knight power also bring points. Whoever has 10 points first wins the game immediately!
