Thanks to the unique combination of lightweight aluminum and Textonile, a woven fabric familiar from modern outdoor furniture, this basket is weatherproof, dimensionally stable, and colorfast. Smart design and added safety: The basket features an additional cover mat and a strap with a snap closure to securely fasten valuables, such as your handbag or laptop bag. For added safety while cycling, the basket is equipped with an integrated LED strip, making you more visible in the dark. The light is powered by 2x AAA batteries (sold separately). Easy mounting with the MIK system: Thanks to the pre-mounted MIK adapter plate 2.0 (70173), you can attach the basket to the rear rack with a single click. Want to take the basket to the office or the store? Then you can click it off just as easily. The black Basil Cento Tech Fiber Nordlicht MIK has a 21-liter capacity. It's made from a unique combination of lightweight aluminum and Textonile. Textonile is a woven fabric you might be familiar with from modern outdoor furniture. What makes this material special is that it makes the basket weatherproof, dimensionally stable, and colorfast. The base of the basket has an extra protective mat and a strap with a snap closure to secure your valuables. This way, you can secure your handbag or laptop bag in the basket while cycling. For your safety on the bike, the basket features an integrated LED strip. This makes you more visible in the dark. The LED lighting runs on 2x AAA batteries (not included). You can easily attach the basket thanks to the pre-assembled MIK 2.0 adapter plate. With this adapter plate you can easily click the basket into your luggage carrier with MIK profiles or a MIK luggage carrier plate.
