This crank puller is designed to remove the crankarm from the bottom bracket without damaging the threads. The process is simple: first remove the locknut from the crank and then carefully thread the crank puller into the crankarm. Then, you can loosen the inner bolt of the crank with a wrench. This will gradually release the crank from the bottom bracket.
