In normal low beam mode, the new IQ-XM from Busch + Müller achieves an outstanding light output of 120 lux: the extended light field shines far, wide and homogeneously - but like every headlamp approved for road use, it has a clearly defined light/dark boundary. Pressing the ergonomic handlebar button breaks through this barrier: with 170 lux, the high beam shines upwards. Enormous visibility, a major comfort plus.
