This set of 10 pairs of Metalic Carbon Disc Brake Pads is suitable for Avid X0 Trail / X7 Trail / X9 Trail and Guide R / Guide RS / Guide RSC / Guide Ultimate brakes. With these brake pads from Elvedes you choose a good price/quality ratio. They are made of a metallic carbon (semi-metallic) compound, making them ideal for both wet and dry weather conditions. These brake pads offer high braking power and are suitable for e-bikes.

After installing the new brake pads, it's important to bed them in; this will extend their lifespan. To properly bed in the brake pads, gently pull the brake lever while riding. Make sure the brake pads are in contact with the brake rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour (15 mph), then brake harder at the end to reduce your speed to about 5 kilometers per hour (3 mph). Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
