This Falcon Eyes Octabox is easy to assemble and can be attached to the flash unit using the speed ring. This places the flash deep within the octabox, minimizing light loss. The octabox provides beautiful, soft illumination. For more control over your light, you can attach the included honeycomb grid to the octabox. The honeycomb grid provides a more focused light, allowing you to direct it more effectively.
This softbox comes standard with a Falcon Eyes speed ring, compatible with all Falcon Eyes flashes except the SS series. With an optional speed ring (see "Optional Accessories"), the softbox can be used with Bowens, Broncolor, Elichrom, Hensel, Multiblitz, and Linkstar flashes, among others.

These softboxes are not suitable for halogen lamps (such as the Falcon Eyes QLT-1000) due to the high heat they generate. The SBQ series softboxes are suitable for these types of lamps.
