The Carson NV-200 is a digital pocket night vision device and is the ideal handy and affordable accessory for nighttime observations. This monocular is very compact and lightweight, yet offers all the necessary features for optimal vision in the dark. This includes manual focus, diopter adjustment, and a built-in infrared light. Whether you're looking for animals, want to observe your private property, or simply want to see where you're going on a night walk, this pocket night vision device is always useful! The device is digital, meaning you can use it both day and night.

The digital residual light intensifier features a wide field of view of no less than 19 degrees, allowing you to see a large portion of your surroundings at all times with a single glance. You can also rely on a standard 1x optical magnification. To create extra brightness and increase the viewing distance, the night vision device is equipped with a built-in infrared intensifier. The IR illuminator can be adjusted to three levels: 100%, 60%, and 30%. If you don't want to use it (e.g., during the day or at dusk), you can, of course, disable it completely. The viewing distance with the device is over 150m (full moon), and you can detect a person or animal up to 50m in complete darkness, without any residual light. The surroundings are projected in black and white for extra high contrast.

At 54 grams and compact, the night vision device is easy to carry and store. The unit comes standard with a wrist strap, so you can securely tie it around your hand, attach it to your keys, and then store it in your pocket, for example.

To use the compact residual light intensifier, insert three AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment next to the eyepiece. Then, you can power up the unit. Adjust the desired diopter setting by turning the ring on the eyepiece. Rotating the ring on the objective lens manually focuses the displayed image. This ensures optimal sharpness at all times. If the unit is not used for five minutes, it will automatically shut down via the auto-shutdown function.
