The Control Tech CLS stem is made of sturdy and light 3D-Gesmeed 6061 aluminum, giving it the perfect combination of power and weight. With its 'forged' manufacturing method, this stem is considerably stronger than 'cast' stem and requires less material, resulting in a stiffer and lighter stem. The correct length of the stem is essential for a comfortable bicycle position and good handling, which is why the CLS stem is available in eight different sizes, ranging from 60mm to 120mm. Moreover, the stem can easily be turned over to give up or down a slope of 5 °, depending on your aerodynamic ambitions. The SCM-435 steel bolts provide extra strength and a safe fit.
