Description

The Falcon Eyes SO-68TDX II (or the SO-68TD in a modern twist) is a BI-Color LED lamp with extremely soft light and adjustable theme effects. The SO-68TDX II has a capacity of 68 watts and is 60 cm in diameter. The light is radiated in one soft haze, so that the individual LED lights are not visible.

To set the light optimally you can use a number of useful functions. This way you can adjust the color temperature from 3000K (warm yellow light) to 5600K (daylight). You can also add more or less power continuously. In addition, with the SO-68TDX II you can use theme effects to imitate numerous situations lifelike. You can use the Sophiez lamp via net current, but also with the help of an optionally available V-mount battery. With this lamp an adapter is supplied as standard, making it possible to use the LED lamp via two NP-F batteries. The lamp is equipped with a universal spigo connection, so that it fits on any common lampstative. On the sides the lamp is equipped with pivot points, so that you can adjust the lamp in almost every angle.

What does TDX II mean?

The SO-68TDX II (TDX version 2) can be seen as an upgrade/re-style of the SO-68TD. What has changed? In addition to the known functionalities, you can now also use 9 theme effects, such as flashing lights, lightning and candlelight. This therefore offers even more options for video recordings, for example. The operating menu has also changed with which you determine the settings - such as color temperature - of the lamp. To control the SO-68TDX II remotely, you need the RC-5B remote control (see optional accessories). Do you still have the regular SO-68TD? Then you control the lamp using the Falcon Eyes RC-6. To operate multiple TDX lamps, you now use DMX, or therefore from the remote control. The lamp has a mini-XLR 3-pin plug to connect to a DMX panel.
