Description
The Falcon Eyes SO-300TDX is a modern LED solution that provides extremely soft light. The individual LEDs are invisible; instead, a single, soft haze of light is emitted. The SO-300TDX has a wattage of 300 watts. The light is emitted at a 66-degree angle, and its CRI value of 95 ensures natural colors. The brightness of the light is infinitely adjustable via the built-in touchscreen. The color temperature can also be adjusted from 2800K to 6500K. You can power the SO-300TDX with the included power adapter or two optional 14.8V V-mount batteries.
Application SO-300TDX
The SO-300TDX is indispensable for video recording in your studio and on location. This type of lighting is also increasingly used for portrait photography. The soft, diffused light creates a natural rendering of the subject. Thanks to the spigot mount, the SO-300TDX fits on any sturdy light stand; see optional accessories. The lamp is equipped with pivot points on the sides, allowing it to be adjusted to virtually any angle. Using the control panel on the back of the lamp, you can control multiple lamps simultaneously with a single control panel. Simply set the lamps to the same channel. There are special modes for the film industry, allowing you to simulate lightning, for example. The Sophiez lamps with the "TDX" in their name are not compatible with the "TD" versions. For example, you cannot wirelessly control the SO-48TD with the SO-108TDX, but you can with the SO-68TD. You can use this light with the Falcon Eyes RC-7 Remote Control. See optional accessories. DMX512 control is also possible using optional UTP cables and a DMX panel.
Special effects SO-300TDX
The SO-300TDX lets you display 9 special effects. It simulates the light of thunderstorms, candles, and a TV screen, among other things.
Connecting the DMX panel
The lamp has an RJ45 plug for connecting to a DMX panel. This allows you to control the light using the DMX512 protocol. The last photo shows this connection.
