The product breaks down the odor molecules in a smelly litter box. Spray the clean cat litter granules liberally with HG against cat litter odor so that the top layer is well moistened. Then stir these grains. If desired, the litter box itself can also be sprayed. The product will take effect immediately as soon as the cat does its business. If the litter box starts to smell again after a while, you can spray it again in the meantime.
