These are filament bulbs, meaning that the LED bulbs have a glow-in-the-dark effect, giving them the same appearance as traditional incandescent bulbs. With LED lighting, 95% of the energy is converted into light. This means that only a small part is converted into heat, so that energy consumption remains significant. An LED lamp can therefore produce as much light as an incandescent or halogen bulb, using only a fraction of the current.
