The DHG (Digital High Grade) circular polarization filters are filters that are often used for special situations. For example, when photographing objects behind glass, e.g. in a museum, the reflective effect of the glass can be suppressed using a polarizing filter. By turning the front part of the filter you can choose whether the water is reflective or whether you want to photograph "into the depths". Also consider snow, plant shots or photographing through a window. A circular polarization can be used for landscape photos, by turning the circular polarization you can make different colors of blue appear. Another effect of using a polarizing filter is that a cloudy sky gets much more contrast.
In general, it is advisable not to use circular polarization on a lens indoors or at night.

The DHG filters are made of extra strong tempered glass and have a multiple coating. Moisture/scratch/dirt resistant. This also makes the DHG filters easier to clean.
