The SiOnyx Picatinny Rail Mount is the accessory you need to attach a SiOnyx Aurora night vision device to your weapon. The mount is compatible with weapons equipped with a Picatinny or Weaver rail.
This SiOnyx Picatinny mount is compatible with the SiOnyx Aurora Black, Aurora, and Aurora Pro. It allows you to use the Aurora as a scope attachment for an optical riflescope or red dot from brands like Vortex or Swarovski. The mount measures 65 x 30 x 16.5mm.
Confirmation on your weapon
Before using this mount, you should first check whether it is compatible with your weapon. Your weapon must have a Weaver or Picatinny rail long enough to accommodate both a red dot/riflescope and the SiOnyx night vision device. You don't attach the SiOnyx cameras to your riflescope/red dot. Using this mount, you position the night vision devices at a different position on the rail. This is different from using a thermal imaging attachment (see optional accessories), which you attach directly to your riflescope.
Application
This mount is suitable for any user who wants to add night vision to their riflescope. It transforms the SiOnyx Aurora series into a clip-on scope. It's suitable for hunting, target shooting, airsoft, and for military and police users. Compatible full-color night vision devices can be found in the optional accessories.
