The Pixel Timer Remote Control Wireless TW-283/N3 lets you trigger your Canon camera wirelessly, from a distance of over 80 meters. So you no longer have to touch your camera's shutter release or even be near it!
This multifunctional set supports five different modes. You can remotely control your camera to take a single photo ( Single Shooting ) or a series of photos within one second ( Continuous Shooting ). The TW-283/N3 also offers BULB shooting , which allows you to open the shutter indefinitely. If your camera supports long-exposure photography, you can hold down the remote control button to open the shutter. When you release the button, the shutter will close again. You can also set a timer. In this mode ( Delay Shooting ), you can set the timer between 1 and 59 seconds, and specify the number of photos to be taken (1 to 59 photos). Finally, you can create a timer ( Timer Schedule Shooting ), up to a maximum of 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. You can also freely set the number of photos to be taken between 1 and 99, 1 and 999, or infinite.
The set consists of the TW-283TX transmitter and the TW-283RX receiver. The transmitter is comfortable to grip and features an LCD screen. It displays the channel, battery status, and selected mode. The transmitter transmits a signal at a 2.4 GHz frequency on up to 30 different channels. The maximum standby time is 1,000 hours for the transmitter and 400 hours for the receiver. Both the transmitter and receiver require two AAA batteries (not included). The receiver includes a hot shoe adapter with a 1/4" female thread. This allows you to mount it not only on your Canon camera but also on a tripod (see optional accessories).
The weight of the transmitter is 52.6 grams and of the receiver 36.2 grams.
