Indication(s):

• For well-functioning intestines. For loose stools caused by a viral or bacterial infection or by eating something unhealthy. For constipation.

Properties per ingredient:

• Psyllium husk has the property of absorbing a great deal of fluid. It absorbs excess intestinal fluid during loose stools, and when constipation occurs, it softens the intestinal contents with sufficient water intake. Psyllium husk also has a neutralizing effect on toxins in the intestines.
• Methylsulfonylmethane is an organic sulfur and - in addition to being an important mineral building block - very important for detoxification processes in the body.
• Bentonite binds toxins and heavy metals so that they can be excreted in the feces.
• N-Acetyl-Glucosamine is an important building block for the intestinal mucosa and contributes to the rapid recovery of the intestinal wall.
• Magnesium (as citrate) and Magnesium phosphoricum have a relaxing effect; in addition, the need for magnesium is increased with loose stools.
• Enterococcus faecium Probiotics are beneficial gut bacteria. The bacterial strains are protected so they can easily pass through the stomach without being killed by stomach acid. Beneficial gut bacteria are crucial for proper nutrient absorption and optimal resistance. These beneficial gut bacteria lower intestinal acidity. They produce substances that combat pathogenic bacteria, thus reducing the risk of intestinal infections. They also contribute to proper food digestion by producing enzymes and short-chain fatty acids, a vital nutrient for intestinal cells. Good intestinal cell health is essential to prevent pathogens from entering the bloodstream through the intestinal wall. The development of allergies is also linked to excessive intestinal wall permeability.

Dosage and application:

• Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise.
• The optimal dosage twice a day:
• Dog > 25 kg 2 scoops
• Dog 10-25 kg 1½ scoops
• Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 scoop
• 1 scoop contains approximately 3 grams.
• If administering this product multiple times a day is difficult in practice, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dose. This product is still effective, but the response may take a little longer.
• Administration: Can be administered with food. Moisten the food or powder so it doesn't blow out of the bowl. In case of constipation, give it with plenty of water and ensure there is always plenty of fresh drinking water available.
• Directions for use: If your dog or cat doesn't like the product, the powder can be mixed with meat, fish, yogurt, or other treats. Always provide good-quality food.

How long does treatment with this product last? The effect of the treatment should be visible after 1 to 2 days. For acute complaints, the treatment duration is relatively short. This can vary from 1 to 3 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few days after the complaint has disappeared. For a chronic condition, the treatment duration is longer. Once the symptoms have subsided, you can continue.
