Description
The Ceratosaurus from the Schleich® DINOSAURS theme world is a carnivorous dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic Period. This dinosaur had prominent bumps near its eyes and a large hump on its nose, all made of bone. These bumps were used in battle or to frighten off rivals. The Ceratosaurus also had numerous small, spiny bones on its back. The name Ceratosaurus means horned lizard, referring to the many bumps and plates on its body.
