Roll of 25 Schwalbe Energizer Plus R tires, Black, 28 x 1.50, 40-622. Specially designed for e-bikes. The new Energizer Plus features an ultra-modern, dynamic touring tread with a smooth center section and heavily diamond-cut sidewalls. This makes it roll smoothly on the road and provides good grip, even on unpaved surfaces. The Addix E-compound, specifically designed for e-bike use, ensures maximum durability, low rolling resistance, and exceptional grip, even at high speeds. Reliable puncture protection in everyday use is guaranteed by the proven, 3mm-thick GreenGuard puncture protection layer. The new Energizer Plus is, of course, ECE-R75 certified. The Marathon Energizer Plus is suitable for e-bikes up to 50 km/h. For these fast e-bikes—S-pedelecs with approval, insurance, and pedal assistance—above 25 km/h, this special tire approval is required. The advice is therefore to use E-bike tires with the ECE-R75 approval valid in Europe for these E-bikes.
