Macrame is an ancient technique in which strong yarn or rope is used to tie various types of knots, which then form different patterns. You can learn how to make some of these knots with our technique videos. The activity requires almost no tools other than the macrame rope/cord, although it helps to do your knotting projects on a special macrame board/clipboard.
