Depending on how you want to decorate it, the wooden animal can first be lightly sanded with sandpaper. The opaque Plus Color hobby paint, available in a wide range of colors, is ideal for painting the figure. The paint is also available as a marker, which is excellent for adding small details to the painted surface of the figure. If you want a stained look, the Plus Color paint can be diluted with water; in that case, a subsequent coat of water-based varnish is recommended.
