The StudioKing Diffuser Ball SK-DB300 is an accessory for your flash that refracts the harsh light of the flash. This results in a beautiful, soft, and even effect. The ball's diameter is 30 cm, which distributes the light evenly and eliminates strong shadows. The SK-DB300 does not have an interchangeable adapter ring.
Application StudioKing Diffuser Ball SK-DB300
The SK-DB300 easily mounts on flashes with a Linkstar S-mount (Bowens) bayonet. A diffuser ball is ideal for passport photography, for example, because you don't want shadows. Diffuser balls are also suitable for product photography. Holes on the back of the ball allow heat to escape, preventing the ball from melting. Note: the maximum continuous modeling power is 60W.
If you want to use the SK-DB300 with another brand of flash, you'll need the DDBW-EX with an adapter for the flash itself. There are also ready-made adapters that attach directly to the diffuser ball and flash. These can all be found in the optional accessories.
