The StudioKing SK-HC18 is a honeycomb grid that fits into a standard 18cm reflector. Thanks to the reflector, you can narrow the beam: the light is diffused at a 40-degree angle. Without this reflector, the light would be diffused at an angle of up to 180 degrees. The SK-HC18 therefore offers greater control of the light, allowing you to illuminate the subject in precisely the right spot. The flexible side bracket ensures that the SK-HC18 is securely clamped to the reflector.

When shooting photos or videos with an 18cm reflector, you can use the SK-HC18 for a narrower beam. For example, with three-point lighting during interviews, you can adjust the backlight so the light hits the back of the head precisely. This creates a beautifully illuminated rim around the interviewee's head. The 40-degree beam is also clearly visible on walls and ceilings, allowing you to create more ambiance by illuminating specific areas. Because the SK-HC18 is made of metal, it can be used with virtually any type of lamp; continuous light, flash, and halogen light are no problem at all.
