The Carson Digital USB Microscope 86-457x with Recorder is a powerful microscope for Mac, laptop and PC, with which you can view and save the finest details in real time. The microscope is an extremely useful accessory for anyone who wants to view the finest details in large format and record images of them. The microscope is suitable for Windows 10/8/8.1/7/Vista/XP SP2+ and all Mac OS (USB 2.0/3.0 port required).
This microscope allows you to view all your observations live on the screen of your PC, laptop, or Mac. It offers a resolution of 1600x1200. It also features a photo and video recorder, allowing you to capture all your observations and review them later. The standard 86x magnification can be increased to an impressive 457x using an effective digital zoom. You can also use a manual focus function. For optimal illumination of the specimens, the digital microscope is equipped with built-in LED lighting.
The item comes with a separate holder, which you can use to attach the microscope. You can also clamp the specimens into this holder. Of course, you can also place the microscope on other surfaces without the holder if you want to view something other than specimens. The microscope and LED lights are automatically powered when you connect them to your device and therefore operate without batteries.

To install the microscope, simply click it into the holder. Then connect the digital microscope to your device using the included 1.25m USB cable. To use the unit, all you need is the "xploview" program (see here ) . After that, it's plug and play. To view a slide, secure it in the holder using the push button on the housing. A rotating ring on the bottom of the Carson microscope allows you to zoom in and out. The ring on the top of the device focuses the image. To take photos or videos, press the photo button on the microscope or configure this using the software on your PC or Mac.
