SWS Outside Standard is an airtight, vapour-permeable and driving rain proof window connection film for exterior use, with a powerful self-adhesive strip for attachment to the window side. Always to be fully bonded to the outer cavity wall using Soudafoil 360H. Can be plastered over directly or finished with an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). This flexible membrane can also be used as an airtight and driving rain proof seal for all types of wall connections, even on uneven substrates. Depending on the situation, the installation of SWS Outside Standard can be carried out before or after the installation of the facade element (e.g. window frame). There are 2 methods for applying SWS Outside Standard. One can work with a single strip or with 4 separate strips. In both cases, extra material must be provided for the corners (approx. 5 to 10 cm per corner). After unrolling and removing the protective film, adhere the film with the exposed adhesive strip (on the printed side) to the side OR to the front of the facade element. Both sides of the film are plasterable and paintable. To bond the film to the rough construction, Soudafoil 360H must be used. Adhere the film, not too tightly, to the rough construction to absorb any movements between the different building elements, but avoid folds. Then press the film evenly with a pressure roller.
