Traditional tyres are designed for narrower rims and become square on wider rims, resulting in a less than optimal performance. WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension of 30 - 40 mm.\n\nTubeless Ready\nTubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other \"Tubeless Ready\" tyres, because the bead of Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tyre.
