This USB-A to RJ45 extension cable is designed to allow USB devices to be used over long distances via a UTP network cable. With this solution, a USB connection can be extended up to 60 meters over Cat 5 / Cat 5e / Cat 6 cabling, without noticeable loss of quality. The set consists of a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter connects to the computer via USB-A and converts the signal to RJ45. At the other end, the receiver converts the signal back to USB-A, allowing the USB device to be connected remotely. The extender supports USB 2.0 with low-speed (1.5 Mb/s), full-speed (12 Mb/s), and high-speed (480 Mb/s). Thanks to the included AC adapter, the power supply is stabilized for reliable operation, even over longer distances. The extender is hot-pluggable and requires no drivers or software installation.
