Nest Monopod WT-1003 H171 CM

The WT-1003 from Nest is a multi-usable, lightweight monopod with flip-lock and has a maximum height of 1.71 m. It consists of four sections, is very compact and ensures stability during your recording or observation. The WT-1003 is equipped with 1/4 "male thread and has a load capacity of up to 3 kg. This means in practice that you can attach almost every photo/video camera to it, but also, for example, optic products (see optional accessories).

The Monopod has a rubber base and a recess that you can press about one cm in the ground, especially for unstable surfaces. You can turn the rubber foot in and out. Furthermore, the tripod is equipped with a soft foam handle for an extra high comfort. There is a wristband at the top so that you can secure it safely. The monopod is supplied in a storage bag with zipper and carrying strap.

Benefits of a monopod

The advantage of a monopod with regard to a "normal" tripod is that it is much more compact and therefore takes up less space. Moreover, you can put on a monopod easily and quickly. You hold the monopod with one hand and attach the camera or viewer to the 1/4 "thread connection at the top. So everything stays securely in place and the tripod is firmly upright, whether it is on a solid or uneven surface. These factors make the monopod very suitable for use on location or on the road.

A monopod, also known as a single-stage, is an indispensable tool for every photo and videographer. For example, the WT-1003 is suitable for every common compact camera, DSLR (SLR) or video camera. As soon as you see something that you want to capture with a camera, you have set everything up in no time.

As mentioned earlier, a monopod is also a very handy accessory for use with optics, such as binoculars and spotting scopes. If you use optical products with higher magnifications from your hand, the image will vibrate through minimal hand movements. This prevents you using a monopod. Because these types of products are actually always used in the open air, the chance of a solid surface is particularly small. The Nest-1003 also offers a solution for these problems.
