This set of 10 pairs of sintered disc brake cubes is suitable for Avid DB1/DB3 brakes. With the Elvedes brake pads you choose a good price/quality ratio. The brake pads are made of different compounds, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. For dry conditions, the organic brake pads are ideal, suitable for MTB, trekking and racing bikes. For wet conditions, the sintered brake pads are ideal, suitable for MTB. For both wet and dry weather conditions, the metallic carbon (semi-metal) brake pads are ideal for e-bikes.

After mounting the new brake pads it is important to inhibit them, this extends the lifespan. To brake the brake pads, keep the brake lever slightly attracted while you drive and make sure that the brake pads touch the brake disc. Drive approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake at the end a little harder to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then you slowly increase the speed while slightly braking. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure that your new brake pads are well finished.
