However, it's important that the soap isn't too hot, as this can cause the plastic to curl. If you can hold the container with molten soap for 20 seconds without burning your fingers, the mold is ready to use. Let the soap harden completely, preferably overnight, so you can easily remove it from the mold. Gently press upward from the bottom, starting in the center and working toward the edge.
