This expansion is the fourth major addition to the popular board game of the past decades. It contains different scenarios that introduce new game rules step by step. This expansion is all about discovering new areas. Important new mechanisms include sailing with ships, picking up and depositing passengers and goods, and 3 challenging missions.
- Land in Zicht: This is the introductory scenario in which most new rules are introduced. You can actually sail with your ship, build villages into harbor villages, to collect and unloading goods, build villages and receive rewards in various ways for discovering land.
- Pirate ships make it difficult for you and the mission game rules give you the opportunity to score extra points. For example, you have to conquer pirate depots successively, catch fish for the Catan council and transport spices.
- All missions are combined in the ultimate scenario "Piraten & Discoverers"! This offers avid catanish players many hours of fun.
