Bokashi means "fermented organic material". The Bokashi method in an airtight container is a super fast acidification process using effective microorganisms. What is not allowed in the normal compost is also possible here: all food scraps, raw or cooked, meat, fish, dairy products, salads. Just put it in! Just sprinkle the supplied yeast to speed up the process. Sprinkle the finished Bokashi in the garden or keep it in an airtight, cool and dark place. With the Bokashi kitchen bucket you ferment your own kitchen waste in the house. Mixing kitchen waste with a little Bokashi starter (which can also be purchased separately later) creates valuable organic material. The added effective microorganisms in the Bokashi-Starter ensure that the present fresh GFT waste will ferment and therefore not rot. This set consists of 2 stackable Bokashi buckets.   Ferment instead of making compost! You can make your own GFT-Bokashi from Kleingtemakte Kitchen waste and all other types of plant residues. With a good fermentation, rotting and odor get no chance. Preparation: 1 cut the kitchen residues into pieces of about 5 x 5 cm. 2 Divide a small quantity (20 ml) Bokashi starter on the schedule of the kitchen bucket. 3 Sprinkle a layer of approx. 5 cm fresh kitchen remains in the bucket. 4 Divide 20 ml Bokashistarter again on the kitchen remains. 5 Press the kitchen remains firmly. 6 Close the Bokashi kitchen bucket (airtight) with the lid. 7 Repeat this process until the bucket is full. 8 Tap (after about a week) daily the collected moisture. This moisture is suitable as food for room and garden plants. Dilute the Bokashi juice 1/100 with water. Use the drained juice immediately, not keep it. In the toilet and drain pipes it works preventively as a natural unblocker. 9 If the bucket is full, let it alone for 2 weeks so that the upper remains also start fermenting. 10 The Bokashi is ready when it has a pleasant sweet and sour scent. The kitchen residues have hardly changed structure and appearance. 11 The remains can now be processed in the soil (in the compost heap it works as a compost accelerator). Dig a trench (approx. 15 cm deep) between the plants and keep 10-15 cm away to the roots. Spoon the bokashi in. (Approx. 1 kg per m2). Then cover with earth. Now Bokashi is being converted by the soil life. Earthworms also love it. Healthy and handy, because those are free gardeners! After processing Bokashi two weeks waiting by sowing and/or legs. Bokashi-Starter is a microbial driver of the fermentation process and contains effective microorganisms. By dividing Bokashi-Starter into layers between the kitchen residues, the residual nozzle will rot but ferment (upgrade). Handy: Bokashi starter can also be added to potting soil for (germ) plants and flowers.   Product specifications Bokashi Kitchen bucket - Essential Gray - Complete Set - Essential Gray Article Description Bokashi Kitchen bucket - Essential Gray - Complete Set Item number 87176777723546 version Essential Gray Land of origin Belgium Digital brochure5.pdf what is in the box: Bokergeker -Containers Gisting. Bokashi provides a: good food for soil life. Detoxifying effect on the soil. Good environment for microorganisms. Faster availability of the absorbable nutrients for the plant. The effective microorganisms present in the Bokashi ensure: the production of all kinds of important bio-active substances, such as enzymes, natural antibiotics and growth hormones, vitamins and antioxidants. A shift to a constructive disease -suppressing soil. A larger microbial diversity and activity. Why ferment instead of composting? Ideal for people with a small garden, terrace, roof garden or balcony. No fungal development. No unwanted metastasis of seeds. Even stubborn plant roots cannot root again (eg Zevenblad or aegopodium podagraria).
