The vast majority of cats in the Netherlands have been helped. Because of this procedure, the metabolism changes and the nutritional needs of the cat become up to 30% lower, but most cats tend to eat more. This makes the chance of being overweight and related problems very high.

Smølke Sterilized contains 40% less fat than the regular Smølke cat kit for adult cats, but does provide for all nutritional needs. The extra fibers in the diet ensure a saturated feeling and the addition of L-carnitine and choline also stimulates fat burning.

The addition of special minerals prevents dental plaque from attaching to the teeth of your cat, so that bacteria no longer get a chance. Biotin supports a perfect condition of the skin and fur and the extra fibers in this diet also help prevent hairballs. By means of the DL methionine protein, the acidity of the urine is naturally reduced, which helps reduce the risk of struvite stones.

Smølke Weight Control can also contribute positively to get too heavy cats back to the right weight. For this purpose there is an adapted nutritional advice on the package.
