The premium products have all the properties of normal cast iron Dutch Ovens and Skillets. This means that they are suitable for all heat sources, induction, gas, fire, ceramic, halogen and oven. Cast iron pans can reach a much higher temperature than other pans and retain heat considerably longer. Please note that if the pan reaches a higher temperature than the smoke point of the oil, it will burn. Therefore, do not use oil for grilling at a higher temperature and treat the pan with a little oil after cleaning to prevent it from rusting. These sturdy, cast iron pans ensure good heat conduction and are easy to use and keep clean thanks to the enamel layer. The Windmill Premium pans are pre-seasoned, which means that they do not need to be burned.
