It cleans the skin naturally. The sponge is made of the Amorphophallus Konjac Plant and is therefore 100% vegetable. It contains no plastic and no synthetic odor or dyes.    User manual: Wet the sponge with lukewarm water. The sponge can be used in combination with the Petit & Jolie Haar & Body shampoo and bath oil. If your child suffers a lot from rash or eczema, we recommend using only the sponge and water. After use, rinse the sponge well with lukewarm or warm water, hang the spong on the cord and let it dry well.
