Item number: 9003064061490 View all from Riess > View more: Pans > Riess - Enamel Frying Pan with Wooden Handle - 26 cm Want to give your kitchen an even more luxurious (catering) look? Riess enamel sets make it possible. The soft yet distinctive look of enamel is a must-have for any beautiful kitchen. This gorgeous frying pan allows you to beautifully prepare a delicious dinner. Enamel is simply iron fused with silicon-like glass at a temperature of 850°C. This fusing makes the surface very smooth, very hard, and non-porous. The enamel also gives it its beautiful light colors, giving your kitchen a unique look. The material is also scratch- and cut-resistant, and metal oxides are used minimally. Enamel doesn't impart odors to the food, so your food retains its deliciously pure flavor. It also forms a perfect baking surface. You don't need to oil the pan regularly, and you can simply clean it with dish soap. Make sure the pan is well protected when storing, as enamel can be quite fragile when stacking pans. Choose the correct hob diameter for your pots or pans to prevent energy loss. Never heat empty plates and ensure that liquid never evaporates completely. Otherwise, overheating may occur. Recommended maximum temperature for cooking and baking: 220°C. Cook at a lower temperature than usual. Enamel conducts heat quickly to the base and sides. Your dishes will cook gently, preserving the ingredients and enhancing the taste experience. You'll also avoid the risk of burning, save electricity, and extend the shelf life of your dishes. Reduce the temperature gradually and observe the cooking process. Cooking with hot fat/oil carries a risk of ignition. Never leave young children unattended near the stove or heated cookware. Always treat enameled handles and lids with a dry oven cloth. The core is made of iron and heats up quickly. Most of our products have enameled handles and lids and are also oven-safe. The enamel is very hard. However, bumping with hard objects, dropping onto hard floors, or vigorously tapping the edge with metal kitchen utensils can cause the glass surface to chip. Should the glaze flake off despite all due care, it is merely a visual inconvenience. The dishes can still be used. If the inside of the product is flaking, we recommend replacing it, as optimal hygiene is no longer guaranteed. CLEANING The glazed glass surface not only inhibits bacteria but is also exceptionally easy to clean. Riess dishes are dishwasher-safe – ideally in the soft glass cycle. However, we recommend manual cleaning for a brilliant shine in the next generation. Manual Cleaning: After cooking and emptying the cookware, fill warm dishes with water. After a short time, soaked food residue can be easily removed. Extremely stubborn or burnt-on food residue can be cleaned by briefly boiling it with water and dish soap and then cleaning it with the smooth side of the cleaning sponge or a soft brush. Cleaning in the Dishwasher: Before putting the appliance away, remove any food or burnt-on items (see "Manual Cleaning") and rinse briefly with warm water. Use the gentle glasswashing program. Cleaning tools and agents: We recommend cleaning with scouring creams and soft sponges or brushes. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents, such as wire brushes, steel wool, sand-based abrasives, and cleaning sponges with ceramic particles. These can scratch the surface. If the surface is scratched by the wrong cleaning tools, the shine will diminish, but the dishes can still be used without hesitation. Black marks are often metal abrasions from stainless steel cutlery, which can be easily removed with a mild scouring pad or our Riess enamel cleaner. Proper storage: Store enameled dishes, such as glassware, well-dried. Stains caused by hard water can easily be removed with vinegar and water. INDUCTION COOKING: Riess enamelware conducts heat extremely quickly. Follow these instructions to avoid overheating dishes and food, which can cause even heavy pot and pan bases to warp. Please refer to the appliance's operating instructions regarding the power settings. Here are some guidelines: Boiling water at 100°C = 500 watts - Deep-frying at 180°C = approx. 1,700 watts. Never heat empty cookware. Ensure that the diameter of the pot and the cooking surface are as close as possible. Always start at a low power level and gradually increase to the desired power level. NEVER use the Boost function (except for large quantities of liquid (6 liters or more)). Always monitor the cooking process. The automatic switch-off of the temperature sensors often does not respond quickly enough if the food is heated too quickly. Do not touch the glass-ceramic surface of the cooking zone after cooking. It can be very hot due to the heated base of the pot. Environmental information about the enamel frying pan - 26 cm. These frying pans are produced sustainably. Enamel is simply iron fused to silicate glass at 850°C. The surface is very smooth and non-porous. This keeps food clean and with pure aromas. An enamel pot is not only the first choice for anyone with a nickel allergy, but also the greenest way to cook. Only natural "mineral raw materials" such as iron, quartz, clay, feldspar, borax, soda ash, and potash, along with the smallest amounts of metal oxides, are used in its production. There are no artificial elements, so enamel is 100% recyclable in the scrap metal. The firing process produces the enamel's beautiful, vibrant colors, as well as its hard, non-porous, scratch- and cut-resistant surface.
