Falcon Eyes Bi-Color LED Lamp Sophiez SO-48TD on 230V

The Falcon Eyes SO-48TDX II (or the SO-48TD in a modern twist) is a BI-Color LED lamp with extremely soft light. The SO-48TDX II has a capacity of 48 watts and is 48 cm in diameter. The light is radiated in one soft haze, so that the individual LED lights are not visible.

To set the light optimally you can use a number of useful functions. This way you can adjust the color temperature from 3000K (warm yellow light) to 5600K (daylight). You can also add more or less power continuously. In addition, with the SO-48TDX II you can use theme effects to imitate numerous situations lifelike. You can use the Sophiez lamp via net current, but also with the help of an optionally available V-mount battery. With this lamp, a standard Adapter included, making it also possible to use the LED lamp through two NP-F batteries. The lamp is equipped with a universal spigo connection, so that it fits on any common lampstative. On the sides the lamp is equipped with pivot points, so that you can adjust the lamp in almost every angle.

What does TDX II mean?

The SO-48TDX II (TDX version 2) can be seen as an upgrade/re-style of the SO-48TD. What has changed? In addition to the known functionalities, you can now also use 9 theme effects, such as flashing lights, lightning and candlelight. This therefore offers even more options for video recordings, for example. The operating menu has also changed with which you determine the settings - such as color temperature - of the lamp. To control the SO-48TDX II remotely, you need the RC-5B remote control (see optional accessories). Do you still have the regular SO-48TD? Then you control the lamp using the Falcon Eyes RC-6. To operate multiple TDX lamps, you can now use DMX with Mini XLR connection, or therefore from the remote control.

Application Falcon Eyes SO-48TDX II

The SO-48TDX II is a suitable accessory with photo and video recordings in your studio, but also on location. You can use the LED lamp because of the soft, comfortable light and the round shape for example with portrait photography. Moreover, unlike flash light, you can see in advance what the light will have on the subject. The soft, widespread light (65 degrees) ensures a natural representation of the subject.
