The sound sounds around you, so that you merge in your music, series or film. The gyroscopes and gear meters in AirPods follow your head movements, so that it sounds like you're in the middle of the music or scene.
Adaptive EQ
Music is automatically tailored to the shape of your ear. The microphones on the inside detect what you hear, after which the medium and low frequencies are adjusted. This way you can hear the details in every song.
Longer battery life
The battery life is one hour longer than with AirPods of the second generation, and is good for up to 6 hours of listening time² and up to 4 hours of conversation.
Sweat and water resistant
AirPods and the Lightning charging case are water-resistant according to the IPX4 standard, and therefore perfectly resistant to a large mood or a sturdy work-out.³
Magical in all respects
Setting in is done in no time: as soon as you remove them from the case, they are immediately ready for use. You can switch automatically between your Apple devices. The in-ear detection knows the difference between your ear and other surfaces. With "announcing reports with Siri" you can have your reports read via your AirPods.
