Stay under the goat limit in this original trick game! Bokken Schieten is a card game that 999 Games successfully released 15 years ago, but is now self-publishing in a new guise. The game has more depth than you might think at first glance and is also an excellent stepping stone to more challenging battle games such as Wizard and De Crew. In this original battle game you try to collect as many goats as possible without exceeding the limit. You are dealt 8 cards at the start. Each player always plays 1 card, a trick, face up on the table. The player who played the card with the lowest value draws a hill card and places it on the table, choosing 1 of the 2 values on it. The player who played the card with the highest value wins the trick and starts the next one. This continues until all cards have been played. The hill is completed after 4 turns and determines the goat limit. Whoever has collected the most goats after 8 tricks and has not exceeded the goat limit wins the game. You can also choose to play multiple rounds and record the scores.
