- Preparation: Screw the trapezoidal wire spindle with the fine thread side in the tool holder. Place the printing bearing and then one of the press buses on the spindle.
- Use: Place the upper ball head cup on the press bus and put the tools in the head tube. Place the lower ball head on the other press bus and place them both on the spindle of the tool. Then screw the screw bus to the trapezoidal wire of the spindle. Turn the tool holder and start pressing the ball cups. Make sure that the cups do not get stuck during work.
- Before you start pressing the head cups, check the diameter tolerance of the cup session in the frame. You may need to correct the size by first milling and surfacing the head tube. Use the corresponding head tube milling tool (code: 720147) for this.
- Tip: apply some lubricant to the ball cups to be squeezed. This makes the work easier and protects the tools.
