This first edition was made with Mirte and Papyrus, harvested in the botanical gardens.    We have harvested, dried and fragmented in the soap and the Mirte is distilled into hydrolate. Vegetable, organic and with love made in a traditional way in Utrecht. Werf soap is intended for sensitive skin and therefore suitable for all of us.   Because of the mild effect, our soaps are suitable as hand soap, shower soap and even for the face. The shampoo bars are also suitable as a hand and shower soil.   Vegetable we work with oils of the highest quality: vegetable, organic and food grade - even the essential oils - and therefore still full of beneficial substances. For this we work together with growers who have the same conviction. In addition, we pick part of the plants in our beloved Wickenburghse Bos. Here we maintain our soap herb garden and harvest various ingredients that have been growing here for centuries. Free from palm oil and irritating substances We never work with palm oil, animal fats or irritants such as perfume oil, dyes or foam improvers.  We make rich soap from rich raw materials, which also feels great at home on the sink!    Werf soap is biodegradable and of course not tested on animals. In addition to the honey soap and shampoo - both with honey from a local, organic beekeeper - our entire range is vegan.   Organic & handmade All soaps we make by hand, in a large pan, in our soap pattern on the Westerkade in Utrecht. We make one hundred and fifty pieces in one block per batch, which is cut after twenty -four hours. After this, the soap mature for a few more weeks in our drying cabinets. After this process, a piece of yard weep weighs around 100 grams. When the soaps are ready to be packaged, they go by bicycle to the social workplace of WE at the yard. Here they are packed by a super team of soapin packers, in a yard cellar on the Oudegracht, near our soap polar. Environmental information about Werfzeep was created in 2009 from Eveliens preference for old crafts and natural products. During a trip through Canada she and Laurens made, she ended up on an idyllic family farm where soap was made, with a ladle and a huge pan. The wooden house smelled fairytale -like delicious and immediately the first day Evelien helped to make soap. To her surprise, this handmade soap, which lay in the shower and at the sink, was soft and caring for her skin. From a small time with eczema, soap had been out of the question for years, but this soap turned out to be a completely different story than everything she had become acquainted with until then and which mainly one one Sharping skin delivered. Soap made from oils is a completely different product than factory soap made from refined fatty acids, with additions such as foam improvers, synthetic perfumes and preservatives, which also has the glycerin from crashed. This discovery was enough for Evelien to get completely under the spell of soap, the traditional soap, all possible ingredients and the effect on the skin. She started to develop her soaps in a historic site cellar on the Oudegracht in Utrecht. Now, eight years later she works with a growing team in the beautiful soap pattern on the Westerkade.
