Filter bulbs are the new filter medium for sand filter pumps. They are practical and lightweight, making them a much more convenient alternative to filter sand. With only 500 g filter bulbs you get the same filter capacity as with 18 kg filter sand! Cleaning the filter bulbs is simple and can be done via a backwash on the filter pump or with a simple hand wash. Moreover, the filter bulbs will last for years, because you only have to replace 10 to 20% annually.
- Filter bulbs are made of polyester (PET) and are non-toxic and 100% recyclable.
- The diameter of a filter ball is approximately 5 cm.
- Due to the unique structure of the filter bulbs, the swimming pool water flows more easily than through a sand bed, resulting in minimal pressure loss of the pump.
