The built-in timer ensures a regular chlorine release, but to use the saltwater system, you need a filter pump. The filter pump must be able to pump at least 2,650 liters of water per hour for the system to function properly. The generator comes with a pool hose adapter that makes it suitable for 32 - 38 mm. It is important to use pure salt in the system. If there is iodine in the salt, you will get yellow water! So, make sure you use pure salt.
