The best choice for daytime use. The Komodo Neodymium Daylight Lamp offers a broad spectrum of essential IRA and UVA heat and light rays for reptiles. The IRA rays provide penetrating heat, while the UVA rays ensure good vision for your pet. This lamp provides a moderate amount of UVA rays to stimulate appetite and the immune system. The Neodymium layer reduces the yellow color of the lamp for a whiter daylight, creating a more natural environment for the reptile.
Please note: Daylight lamps do not emit *UVB radiation.
Safety instructions: Make sure this is the correct type of bulb for your reptile and that it has the correct socket. Turn off the power before replacing the bulb and let it cool before handling it. The bulb has a large socket (E27).
*Ultraviolet lamps are used in reptile terrariums to mimic the natural light they are naturally accustomed to. They need this natural light for growth and health. The lamps below are UVB and UVA lamps:
