This helmet has been tested and approved according to European standard EN1078 - "Helmets for pedal cyclists and for users of skateboards and roller skates." The helmet should be kept away from heat sources (do not leave it in a car or anywhere directly or indirectly exposed to sunlight). High temperatures will cause the helmet to deteriorate and consequently lose its performance (namely, energy absorption); this means it is void of any Polisport warranty. The maximum temperature to which the helmet can be exposed is 50°C (112°F).
The helmet should only be cleaned with water and a soft cloth. The use or application of sprays or cleaning agents, chemicals (including ammonia), and solvents may degrade the helmet's performance (and void the warranty).
