The ergonomic evolution of Ritchey handlebars continues with the groundbreaking Comp Beacon. Its most striking feature is its super-wide 36° drop. Besides the unparalleled ergonomic comfort and stability this wide flare provides, it also offers ample clearance for handlebars. When riding in the drops, the Beacon doubles down on comfort with a very shallow 80mm drop and a shorter-than-normal reach. The Evo-style upper offers broad support for your hands and has a gentle rearward sweep for a more natural hand position when riding on the peaks. The Comp Beacon's unconventional aesthetic belies its comfort and practicality. Inspired by the randonneur world, the Beacon allows for easy transitions of the hands around the bar without compromising bike control when loaded with gear. The gentle shift in hand position allows the body to stretch and move while the bike remains stable.
