The loofah plant is a vigorous growing plant from the cucumber family that is rich in durable fibers yet remains soft and flexible. When ripe, the interior of the loofah fruit develops a network of fibers perfect for cleaning and exfoliating when dried. Our loofahs are harvested, peeled, seeded, dried, cut into lengths, and hand-processed in Egypt. This processing method is a natural tradition passed down through generations.
