Installation Instructions · Before using for the first time, check that all connections are tight! · We do not offer any warranty for improper installation and any resulting damage! Shower Settings Use the diverter valve to adjust the shower mode (rain shower or hand shower). The direction of the rain shower can be adjusted to the user's preference. Care Instructions Sanitary faucets require special care. Therefore, please follow these instructions: · Chrome-plated surfaces are sensitive to limescale removers, acidic cleaning agents, and all types of abrasives. · Never clean colored surfaces with abrasive, corrosive, or alcohol-based agents. · Clean your taps only with clean water and a soft cloth or chamois. Maintenance · Regularly check all connections for leaks and visible damage. · In the event of leaks or visible damage to the fitting or connection hoses, have them checked immediately by a professional and replaced if necessary. Disassembly · Turn off the water supply before disassembling the product. · Pay attention to the outflow of residual water. · Disassemble the product according to the assembly instructions in reverse order. Franz Joseph Schütte GmbH warrants proper material quality and workmanship in accordance with the intended purpose, as well as professional installation, tightness, and function. The warranty is only valid in the country where the product was purchased. The warranty also includes a 1-year warranty on the durability of non-high-gloss chrome-plated surfaces, such as bronzed or colored surfaces. The following are not covered by the warranty: Damage due to improper installation, improper application, and improper use. Valves. Damage due to external influences such as fire, water, and chemical influences. Mechanical damage caused by accidents, falls, or other impacts. Negligence or intentional destruction. Normal wear and tear or defects caused by poor maintenance. Damage due to repairs by an unauthorized person. Warranty Service. The warranty includes, at our discretion, free repairs or free delivery of spare parts or a product of the same quality upon return of the defective part or product. If the model in question is no longer produced, we reserve the right to select a replacement product from our range that is most comparable to the returned model. Replaced products and parts become our property. Upon returning the product, the purchaser bears the costs and risks of transport, unless the situation is covered by the warranty in accordance with the statutory warranty regulations. Reimbursement of costs for disassembly and assembly, inspection, and claims for lost profits and damage are excluded from the warranty, as are any other claims relating to damage and losses of any kind caused by the product or its use. 3. Submitting a Warranty Claim. The warranty claim must be submitted within the warranty period to Franz Joseph Schütte GmbH, Hullerweg 1, 49134 Wallenhorst, along with the original proof of purchase. 4. Warranty Period. The warranty period is stated on the packaging label. If no specific warranty is stated for a specific product, the warranty period is always 2 years from the date of purchase, with the date on the proof of purchase being binding. Exception: The durability of non-high-gloss chrome-plated surfaces, such as bronzed or colored surfaces; for this, the warranty period is 1 year, and the date on the proof of purchase is also binding. The warranty period for the product will not be extended or renewed through warranty services. Warranty services will not limit the warranty period unless there is a case in which legal provisions and legal requirements for a limitation exist. 5. German law applies to this warranty, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). 6. Severability Clause. Should any of the provisions in the guidelines be or be rendered wholly or partially ineffective, or if the parties inadvertently fail to create a guideline regarding a situation in this contract, the validity of the other provisions in this contract will remain unaffected. In place of the ineffective or inapplicable provision, or in place of the gap in the contract, an effective or applicable provision will be added that comes closest to the intent and purpose of the ineffective or inapplicable provision.
