There is also a synthetic anti-perforation midsole to keep sharp objects out.    This Montana boot has a safety toe made of metal-free composite. This is light, thermo-insulating and does not conduct electricity, but still offers protection against an impact of up to 200 joules. The SRC standard PU\/PU outsole is shock-absorbing and has very good anti-slip properties and stability. Conductive WED strips provide anti-static properties.    The crawl toe strengthens the toe of the shoe and protects it against wear. This is particularly useful if work is regularly done where shoes rub against the ground with the toes.
